In my opinion, Leonardo DiCaprio does deserve an Oscar, but not for this movie.
Bustle is right about its second reason: his performance was too rude for most Oscars voters, who might think that it’s more irritating than entertaining.
However, the movie is a great critic about the kind of people DiCaprio plays, that’s why his performance is this wild.
OPINION
If he doesn’t win an Oscar for his acting, he should, at least, get one for his trajectory and many years of work.
