Tom Fletcher, McFly’s vocalist and guitarist opens up about suffering from depression

Tom Fletcher has talked about his not very stable mental health. He started to know about his
condition when he watched a documental about depression. In the moment that he recognised
it he was living with the boys of McFly.

Tom Fletcher is recovering from this and the band is celebrating their ten year anniversary now; they announced that they were joining forces with two members of Busted, James Bourne and Matt Willis, to form the supergroup McBusted. The two pop bands first toured together almost a decade ago and will be performing their hit classics on a UK tour  in April and May 2014.

OPINION

The depression that Tom Fletcher suffered was caused by his bipolarity, which we think he tried to uncover because he is in the world of music and he didn’t want to worry his fans. This only made his illness worse, and it’s very brave from him to finally face it.
   The idea of
   McBusted is very
   original, and a great idea
that the old fans will love.
