The kidnapping of more than 200 school girls in Nigeria last week was trending topic yesterday in Twitter. Thousands of Twitter users have been tweeting the hashtags #BringBackOurGirls and #WhereAreOurDaughters in an effort to press on the authorities to rescue the girls, who were taken by suspected Boko Haram militants. Some girls could scape but the others are still retained with the kidnappers. Nigerians want answers about their whereabouts so they have even used Twitter to urge the government and the army to take more action.Read more
