Universities struggle with curbing sexual assaults on campus
A new White House report released Tuesday on sexual assaults on college campuses is putting a spotlight on concerns about how best to educate and effectively communicate the issue to students.
The report issued by the White House task force to protect students from sexual assault urges colleges to adopt a three-point action plan that includes:
-- Campus climate surveys, to gauge student concerns about sexual violence
-- Educating and empowering men to step in when someone's in trouble
-- Putting in place effective campus response plans when a student reports an assault
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) estimates that a college with 10,000 students could experience as many as 350 rapes per year, while the White House Council on Women and Girls -- co-authors of the White House report -- estimates nearly one-in-five women will be sexually assaulted during her time in college.
Kelly Andersen believes that it's up to the colleges to take the lead in working to effectively educate and communicate about sexual violence.
“Universities have the capacity to set a standard for community behavior,” Andersen said. “One that says, 'this a standard of respect that we expect on our campus and that includes having consent every step of the way.”
Wyoming gov accuses White House
The American coal industry is accusing the Obama administration of using the Environmental Protection Agency to end the use of coal despite the president's claim of having an "all of the above" Combined with other EPA policies and regulations, Betsy Monseu, CEO of the American Coal Council said, "Starting in about 2012 and continuing to 2020, we'll have about 60 gigawatts of coal-fired generation coming off-line...and the majority of that will come off in regard to the implementation of MATS in 2015 and 2016."
"We need all energy," countered Mead, "whether it's renewable, whether it's coal, oil, or gas, and we all have a responsibility to do it in the best way possible."
"One of the keys to America's success is to have an energy strategy that does in fact have 'all of the above' and recognizes no energy source is perfect,” Mead said. “All of them need improvement. Let's focus our efforts on improving rather than by regulation taking energy sources off the table."
Recent federal court rulings have sided with the EPA. On April 15, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit upheld the EPA's MATS rule. Two weeks later, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld another EPA rule that places limits on the amount of smog from coal plants that can cross state lines.
Gas explosion rips through Florida jail
At least two prison inmates were killed and between 100 and 150 inmates and corrections officers were injured late Wednesday after a gas explosion at a Florida jail. The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear. Castro didn't know if flooding in the area was a factor but says the jail did get extensive flooding during heavy rains that drenched the region Tuesday and Wednesday. Two nearby hospitals confirmed to WALA that they had admitted a total of 81 patients, none of whom had life-threatening injuries.
Family members of inmates and officers gathered outside the jail, claiming authorities were slow to provide them with information about their loved ones.
"Where is our family members? We don’t know if they dead or alive," family member Eva Stewart told WALA-TV. "It’s really frustrating. I can’t sleep not knowing if my child’s okay. I got other family members in there too, I don’t know if they’re okay."
Mean Girls: Where are Cady and The Plastics ten years on?
Ten years ago today Mean Girls was released in the United States. Now, it is a cult classic and is widely considered to have been the reinvention of the teen genre.
Starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried, Mean Girls was written byTina Fey and followed Lindsay’s Cady Heron, a teenage girl who arrives in Ohio to begin her junior year at North Shore High School after leaving Africa.
There, she befriends social outcasts Janis and Damian before later being recruited to join The Plastics, the most popular group of girls in school.
Speaking to the New York Times, Tina remembered her research for the script, talking about the politics of being a teenage girl in high school.
"I revisited high school behaviours of my own—futile, poisonous, bitter behaviours that served no purpose," Tina said, before adding: "That thing of someone saying, 'You're really pretty,' and then, when the other person thanks them, saying, 'Oh, so you agree? You think you're pretty?' That happened in my school. That was a bear trap."
"I think all girls that age are looking for their 'thing.' I was fairly angsty in high school," she said.
Earlier in 2014, pictures of Taylor Swift hanging out Mean Girls cast members Daniel Franzeseand Rajiv Surendra stoked long held rumours that a Mean Girls musical could be on the way.
Tina confirmed to the New York Times that they were trying to write something, and admitted: "I wish so badly we could have had it done in some form for the 10th anniversary, but hopefully before the 15th."

Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth leave newborn twins at home for outing with daughter
Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth left their newborn twin sons at home on Wednesday to take a break in Malibu with daughter India Rose and fellow thespian Owen Wilson.
The couple welcomed Sasha and Tristan to the world in March but the little one were nowhere to be seen as they stepped out for a snack in the sunshine.
Along the way the couple bumped into The Internship actor Owen, as well as another friend. All were enjoying the warm weather as they donned shorts, and T-shirts for the short journey in the beach town.
It seems Elsa has easily bounced back into shape as she wore white bottoms and a stripy red and white top. Meanwhile her husband was comfortable in an orange shirt and like Owen covered his head with a cap.
The Thor actor carried their little around while Fast and the Furious actress Elsa rested her arms as she is often seen toting her eldest around the Los Angeles area during the daytimes. Recently she has been sharing snaps of her time as a mother-of-three on Instagram but so far has not shown any more of her babies than their tiny feet.
Elsa posted teasers of snaps from her Glamour magazine blog, showing off her children’s crib, baby products and swaddles.
“Regarding clothes, I try to buy them all 100% organic cotton , wash it well with all ecological detergents that do not have any chemical additives, because, you know, there's nothing more delicate than the skin of a baby,” she writes. “The other advice, which they also gave me when I had to India, is the practice skin to skin, whenever you can, from the first moment they are born.
“I demanded that I put in my body to India at birth and she did not cry for 10 seconds.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton given painting from 'role model' artist with Down Syndrome
Prince William and Kate Middleton received a painting done by Tazia Fawley, a talented British artist with Down Syndrome, as a gift to mark the arrival of Prince George.
The colourful picture, entitled Rupert flies over the Suspension Bridge, depicts Rupert Bear looking up into the sky while admiring the flurry of hot air balloons flying past the famous Bristolian landmark.
Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online, Tazia's mother Gylda Thomas explained how her daughter was a role model and a "light" to other people with Down Syndrome, and how Tazia had felt giving away her artwork.
"Tazia thought it was a lovely thing to do, to give the painting away," said Gylda. "Especially as the Duke and Duchess had said it was going to be hung in the royal nursery.
"I think she was quite sad at first because it was a painting that she loved, but also thought that the baby would love it. It was such an honour.
"The nice thing is that since this has happened, so many parents of people with Down Syndrome have got in touch with me and have said they see Tazia as a wonderful role model. It's been a very, very positive thing for families with Down Syndrome children.
"I'm very proud of Tazia because of the painting, but I'm also proud that she's helping all these other families. She's a kind of light."
Tazia has been involved with a research project at Cambridge University, where she had to undergo different scans and blood tests.
"She didn't get paid for it but Tazia did it because she thought it would help people with Down Syndrome," said her mother.
The acrylic painting was first spotted by Heart and Sold, a charity which works to promote the artwork of people with Down Syndrome. The organisation then contacted St James' Palace and offered it to the royal couple as a gift to hang in the newborn's nursery.
"It is such an honour for this to happen, and I'm sure that the baby will love it," wrote Tazia on her blog. "I did three balloon paintings and this one is my favourite. I hope it will be Kate and Wills' favourite, too."
Tazia currently lives with her mother in Somerset, but was based in Bristol which is how she was inspired to depict the city's colourful Balloon Festival.
"That particular year that she did the painting, one of the balloons flying over the Suspension Bridge was of Rupert Bear," explained Gylda. "It's probably one of the most beautiful bridges in the world."
The picture took six months to complete and although it is estimated to be worth £2,000, Tazia has kindly offered the painting to Prince William and Kate for free.
The talented artist has been painting for the past 10 years and sold various pieces at local exhibitions, but her gift for Prince George will no doubt be her most famous work yet.
Tazia is making the final preparations for her three-week exhibition at Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset, which starts on 1 October. For details on how to view her work, visit her Facebook page or blog to get in touch with Gylda.

Jennifer Lawrence embarrassed herself in front of Miley Cyrus at Oscars party
Jennifer Lawrence has admitted that she had a little too much fun at an Oscars after-party – and threw up in front of Miley Cyrus.
Never one to hold her tongue, Jennifer was speaking during a taping of NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.
A source told US Weekly: "Jen said she was so drunk, she puked on the stairs at Madonna's after-party, and Miley walked by and said something like, 'Get it together, girl!'"
The taping, which was recorded on 21 April, will air on 21 May.
The 23-year-old Oscar winner was nominated in 2014 for Best Supporting Actress for her role inAmerican Hustle, but lost to Lupita Nyong’o for her performance in 12 Years A Slave.
Jennifer attended the 2 March ceremony with her best friend – and caused more disruption when she fell over on the red carpet. It was the second Oscars embarrassment for Jennifer, who in 2013 tripped on her way to collect her award for Best Actress.
Party girl Jennifer was spotted in London last week with boyfriend Nicholas Hoult and fashion designer Tom Ford as the trio dined out at the Firehouse Club restaurant.
As they left the North London eatery, Jennifer was seen flashing a bright turquoise ring that had caused a stir earlier that day, as Jennifer and Nick were photographed at a North London pub where the Kentucky-born actress wore what looked like an engagement ring.
Adding to their romantic and jovial appearance, Jennifer and Nick beamed and laughed affectionately with each other throughout the low-key date.
On Tuesday, the pair, who met in 2011 on the set of X-Men: First Class, were reported to have purchased property in London.
Jennifer has fallen in love with the English countryside, said one source, who added: "Jen loves the English way of life and as they are now serious again, it makes sense to look into buying somewhere."

Nick Clegg challenged by wife Miriam
During a speech demanding a culture change across British industry to tackle "old-fashioned attitudes" to flexible, family-friendly working practices, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg is challenged by his own wife Miriam
Fathers who look after their children have “more cojones” and only “dinosaurs” think men shouldn’t share childcare, Miriam Clegg has said.
Nick Clegg’s wife, who is a high profile lawyer, interrupted her husband’s press conference to ask the Deputy Prime Minister to take a public stand for men who look after their children.
In a rare move, which will be seen as highly political, Mrs Clegg took the microphone at the launch of Cityfathers to demand that “modern working fathers” announce "loudly and proudly" that taking responsibility for your own children does not “affect your level of testosterone. “
Mr Clegg replied: "Of course I agree with you Miriam”.
He added: "I am assuming I don’t have to translate cojones – or cojos as it’s sometimes known."
Mrs Clegg, who has previously confined her comments about her own experience of work and family life, decided to take the opportunity to “terrify” her husband live on camera.
She said: “There is an issue of attitudes. There are many, many dinosaurs, not here but out there, that still think that a man who takes care of the his own children, he is some kind of less of a man.
“So if you and other modern working fathers start saying not only loudly, but also proudly, that taking care of your own children and being responsible for those children that does not affect your level of testosterone - and those men who actually treat women as equals are the ones with more cojones.”
The Deputy Prime Minister, after expressing his relief that he did not have to translate “cojones”, said he “massively agreed” with his wife.
He said: “The idea that it is not manly to care is as absurd to say that it is not womanly to work.
“Just turn it on its head. It is an absurd proposition that it is somehow not befitting of a woman to work - I find it equally ridiculous that it is somehow not befitting of being a man to want to care.”
Mr Clegg told the group of working parents that he and Miriam had shared the responsibilities of parental leave after the birth of their three sons Antonio, Alberto and Miguel.
His wife, who is thought to earn a salary of around £500,000 as a lawyer for international legal firm Dechert, was shouldered with more of the responsibility when their third son was born as it was “much, much harder” once he had become leader of the Liberal Democrats, Mr Clegg admitted.
Mrs Clegg’s interjection came as the Deputy Prime Minister made a speech in which he attacked “old fashioned” bosses who “raise an eyebrow” when men ask for time off to look after their children.
Hailing new rules on parental leave that will attempt to break down the “Edwardian” attitude that still prevails in the work place, the Deputy Prime Minister insisted fathers should no longer see themselves as breadwinners instead of carers.
Super Cute Tom Fletcher's "From bump to Buzz!"
Tom Fletcher and wife Giovanna have found the most adorable way of celebrating the birth of their baby son Buzz Michelangelo – releasing a song, of course!
The McFly star uploaded a video onto YouTube showing Giovanna during the whole of her pregnancy as he sings beside her.
He explained: ‘We took photos every day through the 9 months of our pregnancy, this is the result (plus a little song I wrote called “Something New”).’
The video quickly had fans on Twitter hailing the couple as ‘so cute’.
The clip shows the couple standing in front of each other with Giovanna wearing the same clothes as her bump gets bigger and bigger.
It ends with Giovanna disappearing and returning with Buzz in her arms.
Tom revealed recently on Instagram: ‘Having a baby makes you the most happy AND most tired you’ll ever feel…at the same time…like this.’
Also, the famous actor Russell Crowe has talked about this video saying Tom is a man "full of true love". Here's the video and also his famous wedding speech known around the world!

Dougie's McFlown! Ellie Goulding announces that she is now single
But it seems Ellie Goulding’s super-secretive relationship with Dougie Poynter has come to an abrupt end.
The 27-year-old Burn singer is now referring to herself as “single”.
Ellie first hooked up with McFly’s cutest member at the Cosmo awards last December.
They both denied the hook-up for what felt like an eternity until Mr Poynter, 26, admitted last month: “We’ve been seeing each other since last year.
"Ellie’s a lovely person and a breath of fresh air in this industry.”
However, it seems he needn’t have bothered.
Ellie has declared her current status in a new interview, explaining: “I used to put men on a pedestal.
“I decided to remedy that, and that’s why I’m single now.
“They would be everything but I’ve realised I don’t need a guy.
“I’ve got amazing, awesome, stupid friends in the best way possible.”
Miss G then tellingly went on to discuss break-ups at length.
Subtle Ellie said: “A lot of despair in breaking up with someone is thinking about how you’re going to cope in the future.
“But not being completely present prevents you from being happy and alive.
“As soon as you stop relying so heavily on what happened in the past, you end up being able to deal with it.”
Let’s just hope poor Dougie isn’t finding out the news now like the rest of us.

Dolce & Gabbana tax evasion verdict upheld, but they won’t be going to prison
11 months since Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were found guilty of evading around €400 million (£342 million), the design duo have been condemned once again, this time by the court of appeals in Milan.
espite the case's prosecutors calling for the overturning of the designers' initial 20-month sentence - Gaetano Santamaria argued that if the conviction were upheld it would "run counter to common sense" - a three-judge panel reached its decision today.
Dolce and Gabbana have subsequently been sentenced to 18 months in prison, while Dolce's brother Alfonso, Dolce & Gabbana general director Cristiana Ruella and finance director Giuseppe Minoni were sentenced to one year and two months in jail. However, none of the defendants will spend any time in prison as only sentences of over two years have to be served in Italy.
The designers' lawyer said the ruling would be appealed at Italy's equivalent of the Supreme Court.
In 2004, the Milan Fashion Week designers sold their D&G and Dolce & Gabbana brands to Gado, a holding company in Luxembourg, which prosecutors stated could enable them to avoid a high rate of tax in Italy and pay a lower rate in Luxembourg, thus defrauding the Italian state.

McBusted, O2 Arena: 'relentless fun'
Back in 2004, British teen-pop behemoths Busted and McFly were inescapable. They ruled the charts with their chirpy, loveable guitar songs and bleach-blonde fringes, and for a time as a student it seemed virtually impossible to have a first snog without McFly’s 2004 number one Obviously jangling away overhead.
Both bands operated in a skater-jeaned pocket of enjoyment outside normal conventions of arch tween cool. Duly, every man had his favourite. I always preferred McFly's surf-infused style to Busted's watered down approximation of American pop-punk.
Now, you needn’t choose sides, as the bands have joined forces (minus refusenik Busted leader Charlie Simpson, who, having disbanded Busted in late-2004, is focusing on his acoustic solo career). Billed as the “ultimate supergroup” – though the Traveling Wilburys might justifiably quibble – McBusted have all but sold out a 34-date UK arena tour.
It wasn’t hard to see why during this 100 minutes of relentless fun. After an introductory video skit, Busted’s Matt Willis and James Bourne descended onto the stage via a prop Back to the Future Delorean. In a blaze of flame, pink guitars, and choreographed foot kicks, the McFly quartet (including Strictly Come Dancing-winning drummer Harry Judd) were beside them.
They surged into Busted’s Air Hostess, a gloriously silly ode to an adolescent crush at 30,000 feet. All members took the lead, trading sledgehammer power chords and hurtling around the stage with an evergreen vim. Chart toppers from both bands – Busted’s Who’s David?, McFly’s 5 Colours in Her Hair – were given the same crunching five-guitar attack and quintuple harmonies. It was like a 10-year reunion for the best sixth-form band in the world, a nostalgic love-in brought to you by Toni & Guy and a mutual love of Green Day.
The stage theatrics were unyielding. Every song had expertly-placed pauses for everyone to jump in the air in unison. Giant sport balls were released into the screaming audience. For McFly’s Stargirl (another number one), the group beamed down into the arena on a spaceship. OMFG read Judd’s bass drum skin. OMFG, indeed.
For my money, McFly’s songs shaded it. A majestic Obviously and swooning All About You (2005’s Comic Relief single) had a McCartney-esque melodic subtlety which stood above the three-chord clatter elsewhere.
But toe-curling "banter" – “are you ready to have a b-tchingly good time, Wembley?”; persistent overuse of “dude” – somewhat eroded McBusted’s wholesome charm. It also suggested that their shtick has a shelf-life. Busted can’t reform without Simpson, while McFly’s last album barely scraped into the top 20. With both bands approaching or past 30, McBusted could be one last hurrah. If so, it will be some way to bow out.
Touring until July 6; Mcbusted.com

Spain's economy grows at fastest rate since 2008
Spain's economy grew at its fastest quarterly pace since 2008 during the first three months of the year, according to the country's National Statistics Institute.
Compared with a year earlier, Spain's economy grew by 0.6%, the fastest pace in three years.
Despite signs of improvement in Spain's economy, the number of people in employment fell by 184,600 in the quarter just below 17 million, the lowest level for the first quarter since 2008.
The country's unemployment rate edged up to 25.9% from 25.7% in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Spain emerged from recession in October last year. It was one of the countries hit the worst by the fallout from the credit crisis, as its housing bubble burst and its banks needed government bailouts to survive.
It has the second-highest unemployment rate in Europe after Greece.
Tito Vilanova
TITO VILANOVA DEAD: WATCH LEO MESSI, CESC FABREGAS AND GERARD PIQUE ATTEND MASS TO REMEMBER BARCELONA HERO.
Barcelona stars including Leo Messi, Cesc Fabregas and Gerard Pique have gathered for a mass at the city's cathedral to remember their former coach Tito Vilanova, who died on Friday.
Vilanova, who died aged just 45, had been battling throat cancer for three years. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
During his time at Barcelona Villanova served as assistant and confidante to head coach Pep Guardiola, and helped to turn Barca into one of the greatest teams the world has ever seen.
His death has prompted tributes from across the Spanish football community, with fans of Real Madrid joining their Catalan rivals in paying tribute to one of the country's best-loved sporting figures.
Nicolas Cage at SXSW 2014: 'It really sucks being famous right now'
Speaking at the SXSW festival in Austin, Cage lamented his own notoriety and the way it affected how his films are perceived. The actors who inspired him to learn his art, he suggested, didn't face the same indignity.
"I started acting because I wanted to be James Dean," Cage told an audience of journalists. "I saw him in Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden. Nothing affected me – no rock song, no classical music – the way Dean affected in 'Eden'. It blew my mind. I was like, 'That's what I want to do.' This was before everyone had a thing called a smartphone and before the advent of the 'celebutard' – just being famous for famous' sake. I'm not complaining, but it really sucks to be famous right now."
Cage said he was fed up with reviewers discussing his personal life instead of his acting work. "Now even the art of film criticism … now in the LA Times, the critic who reviewed Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans, incorporated how many homes I bought or sold into the review," he said. "What the hell does Lindsay Lohan's personal life have to do with her performance in The Canyons? It should always be about the work itself. What difference does it make if Bill Clinton had an affair – how does that affect his performance as president? In my opinion, I don't want to see personal aspects of someone's life eclipse [their] work."
Cage is at SXSW to promote his new film, Joe, with director David Gordon Green. An adaptation of adaptation of Larry Brown's 1991 novel, the drama also stars Tye Sheridan and Ronnie Gene Blevins. It was well reviewed at the 2013 Toronto and Venice film festivals.

Cristiano Ronaldo beats Lionel Messi to Ballon d'Or
The Portugal captain, 28, was named world player of the year for the first time since 2008 by national coaches, captains and journalists.
Germany goalkeeper Nadine Angerer was named best women's player, while former Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes picked up the coach of the year accolade and Germany manager Silvia Neid claimed the women's award.
Ronaldo claimed the award with a total of 1,365 points, ahead of Messi (1,205) and Ribery (1,127), with the votes cast by 184 coaches, 184 national captains and 173 members of the global media.
Neither Ronaldo or Messi voted for the other in their top three.
Ronaldo selected Radamel Falcao for first place, followed by Gareth Bale and Mesut Ozil, while Messi opted for Barcelona team-mates Andres Iniesta, Xavi and Neymar.
England manager Roy Hodgson chose Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robin van Persie as his top three, while captain Steven Gerrard picked Ronaldo, Messi and Liverpool team-mate Luis Suarez.
Messi, 26, had won the award for the last four years, but Ronaldo had been viewed as the front-runner this time after scoring 66 goals in 56 games in 2013 for club and country.
They included a sensational hat-trick for Portugal against Sweden in their World Cup qualifying play-off second leg, which sealed a place in the finals in Brazil.
"First of all, I have to say a great thanks to all of my team-mates with the club and the national team," Ronaldo said as he cried during his speech.Without all of their efforts, this would not have been possible. I am very happy; it is very difficult to win this award.
"Everybody that has been involved with me on a personal level, I have to thank - my wife, my friends, my son. It is a tremendously emotional moment. All I can say is thank you to everybody that has been involved."
Angerer, 35, saved two penalties in Germany's 1-0 win over Norway in the 2013 European Championship final and was named player of the match.
"I have to say that I'm a little surprised, but very thankful," the Brisbane Roar goalkeeper said. "You never get a success like this on your own. I have to thank my team-mates and my goalkeeping coach who raised me to a level that I never thought I'd get to."
Heynckes, who retired at the end of the last season after guiding Bayern Munich to a historic treble, said he was "humbled and happy" to have won his award.
The Ballon d'Or Prix d'Honneur was awarded to Brazil legend and three-time World Cup winner Pele. "I promised to my family that I would not cry but I am emotional," he said.
"I got so many trophies and prizes but I was jealous of all of those guys who got the Ballon d'Or, which I couldn't get because I didn't play in Europe. Now I thank God that I can complete my trophies at home."
The Puskas Award for goal of the year went to Ibrahimovic for his 30-yard overhead strike for Sweden - his fourth goal of the game - against England in November 2012.
Former president of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge won the Fifa presidential award, while the Afghanistan Football Federation won the fair play accolade for the strides they have made advancing the game in the war-torn country.

Louis Smith: Olympic gymnast to make comeback
mith, 24, took a break after winning individual silver and a team bronze at the London Olympics in 2012.
"I'm not done with gymnastics yet. I have unfinished business," said Smith, who also won Olympic bronze in 2008.
Smith, who won the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing television show during his break from gymnastics, said qualification for the Commonwealth Games would not be straightforward."I believe I can very much compete amongst the best in the world and challenge for medals."
"I'm not surprised. I've been speaking to Louis throughout the year and he's a competitive animal," Hall said.
"He's always harboured a feeling to come back to competition after a rest and to finish his business at a competition he loves.
"Selection is never guaranteed. He could end up not even being selected for the Commonwealth Games. With the upsurge in quality in British gymnastics there are about 10 gymnasts who could make the England team. It will be a real big ask.
"Now it's about putting in the hours and the repetitions on the horse. I've already seen him in the gym and do some of the elements from his Olympic programme and he's also thrown in some of the new moves that guys like Max Whitlock are trying."
Smith said he thought he had made his last competitive appearance at the London Games, at which he won silver in the pommel.
"Everything that I was working on was geared towards 2012 and, when I achieved what I did at the London Olympics, I believed that I had taken part in my last ever competition in the sport," he said.
He commentated on last year's World Championships for BBC Sport but admitted "there was a large part of me that felt I should be competing".
He added: "I know what I'm still capable of when I'm in peak condition."
The Commonwealth Games begin on 23 July and run until 3 August.

How WhatsApp is different than other messaging Apps
•Facebook announced on Wednesday that it
plans to buy WhatsApp Messenger for $19 billion. WhatsApp Messenger has at
least three compelling qualities.
•-Wide-ranging cross platform
support: WhatsApp
Messenger is available for Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and Symbian
•-No Ads: WhatsApp
Messenger has been upfront about its “no ads” policy
•-Lots of users: Probably
the top reason Facebook spent mega dollars on WhatsApp Messenger is its user
base. Currently, it has about 450 million monthly users.
COMPARAISON
How we can see whatsapp
follow being the more used app and there are much persons that
they defend it
like the first new but how can see in the other notice a good app isn’t few ads
or a
lot of users, like shown the second new is more aspects.
OPINION
In our opinion we should use other apps
like telegram because whatsapp
isn’t so secure like
we think and now what facebook have
built the app the security will be more less.
Neymar
Corruption in football as World Neymar will
cost 95 million, 38 more than that.
According to the newspaper, the Barcelona
"paid for the signing of Brazilian striker Neymar
Da
Silva Santos 95 million euros and not the 57 that officially declared president
Sandro
Rosell, 38
million euros more,
Claims against Barça
could trigger price Neymar 180
million.
The Neymar has uncovered the case of worms
against FC Barcelona. Beyond the
'political' implications of the case, the
greatest fear by the entity culé
focuses on the
economic problems that it could drag.
CONTRADICTIONS and opinion
We can see that the Neymar case
and the money spent in this player for the Football
Club Barcelona is
giving a lot to talk, while as we have seen in these two latest news,
in each newspaper there is a different amount of money
regarding their move.
In our opinion this is a corruption case
by Football Club Barcelona and the team has to prove
the true about this
